Water leaking under my2001 gmc jimmy

Could be a hose, could be a soft plug, could be a water pump, could be an intake gasket. Need a little more information, couldn't the people who found the leak tell what was leaking? You will probably have to get under it and look around and see where the water is coming from. Please rate my answer so I am rewarded points for it.

My 2001 chevy venture van has a misfire as i drive what could be the problem

THESE VAN ARE KNOW FOR INTAKE GASKETS LEAKING INTERNALLY,CAUSING A MIS-FIRE. LOOK UNDER THROTTLE BODY AREA FOR COOLANT LAYING IN THE GULLY IF YOU SEE ANYTHING REPLACE INTAKE GASKETS FIRST. IF NOTHING IS LEAKING SPRAY SOME SOAPY WATER ON THE SPARK PLUG WIRES WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING AND CHECK FOR ARCHING, IF ARCHING IS FOUND REPLACE THE PLUGS AND WIRES.

Drive it to Autozone or Oreillys for a free scan. If your car has a problem causing stalling, you should be getting a "check engine" light. The codes that come from this light will tell the sparkplug that is bad and other things.

I drove a similar car for 165,000 miles and it was going strong when I sold it. While the engine is running take a spray bottle of water and spray around the intake gasket and Airhorn gasket. A bad gasket will change the RPM when water is drawn in. If no luck, sometimes the air chamber under the Airhorn can soot up and as it feeds the EGR passage there can be carbon on the EGR valve. The Airhorn only has 8 bolts and a gasket.

You may find all you need to know with the free scan. Good luck with your car.

Vaccum leak load whisling noise cant locate

Take WD-40 and spray it around the engine, when the engine idle comes up, the vacuum leak is in the area you where just spraying. From there you'll need to investigate more closely by hand around that part of the engine.

My trailblazer is missing bad and i found a vaccum hose off under the trans but cant find where it goes, could this be my missing problem

Most definitely! Try to lay the hose where you found it under the hood...and see what areas it will reach to. The area will you'll most likely find a connection is somewhere around the throttle body or intake.

A trick you can try is to take WD40 and spray around the intake area...when the idle changes - goes low/stalls....that's where your vacuum leak is; and is most likely where the hose goes.

If that doesn't work...invest in a Haynes/Chiltons repair manual for about $22.00; which has vacuum circuit diagrams that will lead you from component to component.

Wet floors on driver side

If there are not holes in the floor and the door seals are good, chances are you've got a leak around the seal of your windshield. Lay your seat back and have a friend spray water on your windshield while you look under the dash. Pay close attention to the corners of the kick panels. You'll have to lay in the seat upside down (feet at headrest and head in floorboard). I know this sounds awkward but I've done it and it works best. In order to splash up enough water to go through a hole in the firewall, you would have to be practically submerged in water. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Start the engine and get it up to operating temperature. Take a spray bottle with water in it and spray the vaccum hoses and around the intake gaskets. If the water affects your idle, you possibly have a very common intake gasket leak. That motor is well know for vacuum leaks around the intake gaskets. You can also try spraying carb cleaner, but be very careful with that. Hope this helps. Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.
