Question about 2002 Nissan Xterra

1 Answer

2002 Nissan Xterra: not working are my running lights, dash lights and the interior buzzer. I did find that the 15a fuse was blown which ties into the tail lights. Also noticed that I had a bad brake bulb. Both were replaced and all was working. Later that night problem reoccurred, but this time the fuse hadn't blown. I did replace it again but the problem still exists. I'm driving with no rear lights (brake lights are working). What should I check now or test?? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Fuse for interior light xterra 2014 Where is the fuse for that

The fuse box is located behind the panel just to the right of the glove box door, open the glove box door and then remove fuse box panel, the fuse will likely be a 15A and will be marked INT LT or COUR LT.

Dash and tail lights only went out

Look in the owner's manual for the fuse chart and it will tell you what the fuse location is for the fuse that is obviously blown.

Nissan 2001 Rear Running lights are out, as are the dash, interior and dome lights. I've heard it's one fuse, 15 amp, under the hood, next to the battery

I know of few cars that place fuses used for lighting (etc) in the engine compartment ...but what do know? lol... I would sooner think your problem is either a relay or fuse INSIDE the vehicle and in close proximity of the fusebox (the one that has the fuse for turn signals, dash, headlamps, 4-way flashers (which is a relay of course). Also, if it controls all of those items, I would be looking for a 20A fuse ....15amp sounds a little 'light'... Cheers mate!

Rear lights not coming on and interior gauge lights not working

Your taillight/license plate/dash lights fuse is blown. It's all run off of the same fuse.

Running Lights, Rear Lights and Dash Lights not working

Running lights in front sides of vehicle short out in time. I simply disconnected the plugs found inside the front wheel wells and packed them with grease for time being. When the weather improves I will find the chaffed insulation and repair. Replaced the 15amp fuse found under the hood and shwing, back on the road.
