Your best bet have the vehicle check by a repair shop that has a advanced scan too to check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in all the modules on the vehicle , which is about 10 . Don't listen to someone who tells you to replace parts without trouble shooting the problem , 9 out 10 times they are wrong an you spent money you didn't need too .

sounds like not enough fuel is reaching injectors, first check fuel filter for it may be clogging up. if that does not solve the problem, do a fuel pressure test of fuel pump. then put some good injector cleaner in vehicle. best of luck Toolman,

High gas consuption, I heve seen by several months my Malibu 2002 LS has a high gas consuption, I have already changed sparks, fuel and air filter. There is sombody solve this problem?

A failed camshaft position sensor will show up in a number of ways. The worst-case scenario is that there is no spark in the combustion chamber. Other symptoms can include excessively long cranking time when starting cold, rough running on an intermittent basis, poor idle, stumbling or hesitation, a drop in mileage and stalling upon acceleration. These symptoms may also be caused by a failure in the wiring of the sensor.
