Bmw 320i 2002 the h yellow coolant light comes on when on mway at speed but doesn't come on when driving round town temp stays perfect all time, have put new coolant sensor in but still the same, dont think there is any leaks
Try filling up your overflow jug just a little more but as long as temps are ok, no worried. I had a vehicle do the same thing...

the coolant temp sensor is by far the most common fault.the only other thing it could be is the sensor in the coolant header tank.if you disconect the 2 pin sensor from where you top the coolant up and bridge out the 2 pins in the connector with a bit of wire.if this cures the fault you know its the coolant level sensor.if it persists and its straight from a cold start then the coolant temp sensor is the most likley cause.hope this helps.

Your oil is a little low, and the timing may be off a bit but if it smooths out after warm it is probably ljust

Have your battery checked to make sure it does not have a bad cell, have your alternator checked to make sure it is putting out a full charge to your battery. Sometimes the ASC light is activated wen there is an engine issue that does not have it's own code. You may also wish to have your parking lamps checked to make sure your lamp connections do not have worn wire covers that may be grounding out.

If you took this in and had BMW do the work to fix it and it is not fixed why do you not return to BMW and get it fixed, If you have paid for a repair and the repair did not solve the problem have them refund your money.
