Question about Chevrolet Cars & Trucks
Battery run down quickly
Sounds like the alternator is not supplying enough power, or the battery is old and not holding a charge. Connect a volt meter across the battery, start engine should read between 13.5 and 14,5 volts, turn on headlights and heater blower meter should hold around 13.2 volts, if it drops lower then the alternator is not supplying enough power. The alternator drive belt may be slack? If its the battery, you will need to get a workshop to check it.
