Question about 1991 Chevrolet Caprice
Where is the fuel filter and how do you replace it? After replacement how do you get the air out of the fuel line?
You will find the filter somewhere in the fuel line to find it either trace the largest line exiting the tank or back from the fuel rail. After changing fuel filter, You will not have a problem with air...pump will compensate for that...If you have a schrade valve on the fuel rail, you can attach an old A/C gauge hose to it and crank it over (with end of hose in a suitable container, to avoid spraying fuel all over the engine) but this is generally unnecessary.

The fuel filter is under the car by the passenger door. it has one hose on each end running from the engine to the fuel tank. if you do not see it there check on the driver's side under the car by the door. trust me i have a 1991 chevy caprice .
