Question about 1999 Dodge Durango
I unlocked my car door with a Walmart made key instead of my fob, and it set the alarm off. Now the car won't start at all. I have not tried to use the fob yet, since I have disconnected the batery to make the alarm stop. Will that work, or is there another solution?!?
The same thing happened to me. After many hours of talking with dodge dealers, I found that you can do the following: 1) reconnect the battery; 2) Go to front passenger door and lock and unlock manually 3 times. This should turn the alarm off.
