Question about 1995 Ford Thunderbird
I've got a 95 3.8l t-bird. was rebuilt and also rebuilt the oil pump, the problem is after the car warms up, the oil pressure drops, at 2500 rpms, the pressure should be 40-50 psi, but its onlt getting around 25psi at 2500rpms. anyone know if it sounds like the pump might be bad or does it sound like the main bearings are shot??
I wouldnt worry about it untill it gets lower than 10 lbs,the oil does get thinner as it warms up,if it does get that low warm or cold, then the mains are getting bad.
