I have 05 LS. I had to codes a few days ago. After doing research on line, somebody, somewhere said it was coil #4. (passenger side nearest firewall). Not throttle position sensor or throttle body. I replaced #4 and tested around the neighborhood at times with RPM over 4k. Did not go into limp home mode. Ford will replace coils free if car has under 100K. I was in a hurry and purchased coil made by Borg Warner (limited lifetime warranty) for around $60.

I replaced all but 1 of the ignition coils in my V6, did NOT replace throttle body, and now the car runs without an issue. The 3 ignition coils on the drivers side were easy to replace, just required 8mm socket. The 3 on the passenger side are under the intake and would have required a mechanic to remove. I managed to get my hand underneath to reach 2 of the coils and replace. This did take 2+ hours since they are very hard to reach but it is doable.

Sounds like the Coil Packs. How many and which ones is the question. I have an 04 lincoln LS V8 and had the same issue. I had it fixed at the dealer and it ran over $1300. Your best bet to get a new set off ebay for under $250 and replace all of them yourself. then clear the codes at your local aouto parts store with the code reader most have. I got the same issue with the ETC engine fail safe mode and no power. It would happen at any time. could go a day or so but would eventually happen. I could shut it off and start it up after a minute and it would run fine for a while. It's not hard to replace them. They are under the black covers on each side of the motor. Good luck, and post your results hope this helps.

When driving 2006 LINCOLN LS the car will drop down to 20mph without warning, Why is this

Google search got this:
Ok so I looked up the codes and P2107 is for "Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor" and P2110 is for "Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM"
I think P2110 is thrown and active because there was an error with the throttle body module/part. There is a list of causes for P2107:
Possible causes
- Foulty Throttle Body
- Faulty Throttle Actuator Control Module
- Throttle Actuator Control Module harness is open or shorted
- Throttle Actuator Control Module circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
test the electrical connection on the part e to see if it's loose or corroded at all.
I'm also going to change my coil packs. Maybe if one of those are going out, the computer might throw this code too? Wouldn't think so, but maybe.
What was happening is, when I accelerated, sometimes the car would just die (well, I thought it was dying but was actually going into that forced Limited RPM mode). If I turn the car off and start it back up, all good again.
The throttle body is 422.94 OEM, so... yeah...

P2106 P2110 P2135 P1516

Here is what meens those codes:

P2106
Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power

P2110
Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM

P2135
Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A"/"B" Voltage Correlation

P1516
Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance

I beleive that there is, specifically for chevrolet aveo 2006 a technician service bulletins.

You should have it checked at gm dealer!!!

This is what the code reader tells me. P161B, P0496,P2110, AND P2106 can you help me

P161B = Engine Torque Control - Limit Reached = the torque delivered by the motor has exceeded its rated value
P2106 = Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power
and
P2110 = Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM = the engine overrevved , pumped more power than it was rated for and it had to be forced to slow down by closing the throttle.
All this is caused by P0496 = Evap Emmission high--- purge flow fault = the evap valve got stuck in the fully open position, pumped a lot of fuel in the motor and acted like a fully opened throttle; have it cleaned and if that doesn't fixes, replace it.

2009 Ford Fusion codes 2107,2110 car slows to 30mph and will no longer accelerate

Well, those codes definately are related to why your vehicle will no longer accelerate!

P2107 is "Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Processor"
This code means that the TAC portion of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has failed the self-test.

Posiible causes:
> TAC motor circuit harness shorted to ground
> TAC motor circuit harness shorted to voltage
> Damage Electronic Throttle Body (ETB)
> Damaged PCM

P2110 is "Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Forced Limited RPM"

This code is informational only. It sets in conjunction with other throttle actuator control codes (like P2107 above). It is just letting you know that the PCM is limiting RPM due to a TAC malfunction, (So it doesn't do a "TOYOTA" on you and run away!"

Etc fail safe mode codes p2104 2107 2110 2111 2112

P2104 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Idle
P2107 Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor
P2110 Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM
P2111 Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open
P2112 Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed

Seems like Throttle Actuator is the problem.

Good luck on this repair.

My 2005 lincoln LS has 2 obd11 codes they are: P2107 and P2110 what does this mean?

concern is not the throttle body or tp sensor
coils are causing rf interfernce which causes pcm to get an erratic signal and shut down throttle response
you may also notice a miss/hesitation attimes on hard accel and this is when throttle may shut down?
rec stress test all coils with an oscilliscope-common concern on this vehicle
