Bmw 325 air. On steep hills when it's hot the a/c quits blowing cold air. Problem goes away at the top of the hill. This is never a problem around town. Only when fully loaded going to Las Vegas. Nick

sounds like you have a broken vacuum hose for heater controls or vacuum reserve tank if controls changes when accelerating or going up steep hill, check your vacuum hoses from engine to inside controls
It sounds normal, but perhaps the radiator is a little small. Make sure the core is clean by blowing it out with compressed air (from the engine side) to clear out bugs and other debris. Make sure the overflow/reserve tank is at the proper level. Check the coolant level in the radiator when engine cold--it should be right at the top of the filler. These are all preventive, not a cure for anything.
Adjustment will usually help, but try parking with front pointing down hill next time.(back in, apply E brake .) Emergency brakes usually hold better/well when vehicle front heading down hill. If it doesn't hold with front pointing down, then rear brakes need attention.
Hi. It is a well known problem on VWs you need to let all the air out , your car should have a valve to do this but if you can not find it try leaving the antefrezze cap of and watch for bubles coming out the water ( with the engine runing ,, ) cold
