The motor may be bad or it might have a window motor relay that is bad.

Yukon XL driver side seat not working

There is a seat module under the seat that reads the inputs from the switches and then sends power to the motors, disconnect and reconnect and it may reset. If not you will have to check inputs at module. There is more than one connector on it, you will have to disconnect the power supply.

My 2001 GMC yukon el driver window just stopped working 3 weeks ago. No slow down just stopped. replaced switch and motor still not working. Rear passenger has stopped now!!! any suggestions?

Check fuses for one thing, you may have an abraided wire in the harness where it enters the drivers door or where it enters the passenger cabin. You may also have a wire that flexes or is drawn across a rough edge of dash support, or sheet metal stamping.

Both may ocurr together near each other, or the rear passenger door wiring may be damaged in the pillar or along the channel where the wire is run.

This is one of those repairs that takes a very long time to locate and about 15 minutes to repair. If you have a warbler and inductive tone reciever like is used in telephone and communications installations, it could save a fair amount of time trying to locate the damaged wire.
It amounts to clipping the tone lead to each wire of the window lift circuit and following the wiring harness until a tone change ocurrs or tone stops- this would be the area to look for the damaged wire and it may not always visible if it was a fatigue failure.

Driver side window switch broke how to fix switch

It really depends on what broke. is it the plastic lever, or the electrical part of the switch.

Have an 2003 yukon took passenger door panel off disconneted window switch reassembled now nothing on the passenger door works the switch wont side view mirror wont and keyless entry wont

Take it apart again you probably didn't lock connectors tight or pinched a wire or something silly.
Go at it again slowly you'll find it.

When i open the driver door the radio doesnt turn off on a 2001 gmc yukon

I have a citroen berlingo van does the same thing I open the door the radio comes on with the interior light. I disconnected the light and tried it, same thing I have now noticed though that when I lock the door with the key the radio will go off after about 2 minutes. Try it and let me know if locking the door with the key works? its always puzzled me but I have left it as it still turns of.

Regards
Dan
