Could be fuse or turnsignal relay, look on theb ack panel of your fuse box, which is inside the car. it should be there like a 25a fuse...the trunsignal relay is under the dash it looks loike a lil-canaster with a plug in it.....replace this if the fuse in the fuse box is good, you may also have one unde the hood in the relays/fuse boxx, it will also have a diagram of fuse locations/functions on its lid. just look close

I have a 2002 Chevy impala makes loud whining noise when I step on gas pedal what could it be?.Also signal lights stop working changed fuse still not working what could it be?

Loud whining noise , transmission fluid pump going bad , maybe ! Take it an have it diagnosed instead of someone guessing on here . Without hearing , that's all anyone on here can do . Same with the signal lamps , there are a lot of thing's that could cause the turn signals not to work . The switch , flasher , wiring etc... Are you prepaired to replace all those parts to fix it . Do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop . Because if you have to ask on here it's pretty evident you have no clue about cars . Changing fuse's isn't the way to do it , using a volt meter an test for B+ voltage on both sides of the fuse is the right way .

Impala 2000 directional lights(turn signal) isn't working

Try turning the flashers on and off repeatedly. If this make the turn signals work the switch is bad.Call a dealer and ask about a recall I had an 2002 doing the same thing and the dealer fixed it for free. Not sure how many years they had this problem Good luck

No lights

Check headlight and high beam switch for power in, power out. If power there, change whichever switch isn't working (remember dimmer switch gets power from headlamp switch) If no power going to headlamp switch check main fuses and fusable links for problems.
