Question about 1992 Ford F250
I have a 1992 f250 with the 7.3l diesel with 235,000 miles on it. Every time I go into a curve with an 1/8th of a tank of fuel or less, it will shut off and is difficult to restart, it does this with both tanks. any suggestions?
Well you can extend the pick-up tube by fabricating a hose with perfaration to lay flat on tank so its always submerrg'd. Shouldnt be to bad to do...just reqiures droping tanks....Other than that try your best to keep 1/4 tank minimum....but obviously the pick up tube on the bottom of the fuel pumps sending unit is up to high., and when you take the turn the pump, pumps like normal but gets air/fuel mixture and causes the stall due to enriched o2 levels...No way around it either...
Good luck hope this fix's'ya!
