Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee with 118,000 miles. I recently had all fluids and oil changed. Lately the car raves up when on idle. The RPM go from about 700 to 1,100 and will stay there for few seconds. if i step on the gas it will ten idle normally. It has done it a few times in the past 2 weeks. Anybody has any ideas of what could be?
Could be an idle controll sensor...maf sensor or o2 sensor....run a good carb/fuel ingector cleaner through with with some high test gas, do this for you next 2 fill ups, one can of cleaner per full tank...if it doesnt work.. then one of those senors is playing tricks with ya...In worst case the timing belt is slipping..
hope this was helpful !
