There are two ways to reset the light. you can use an obd2 scan tool to read and reset it or you can pull your battery cables off for a half hour and that will also reset it. just be forewarned if you have not fixed the problem that turned it on in the first place it will just come back on. if you have fixed the problem after 50 starts without seeing the issue again it will also clear itself.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Dose 2008 wrangler have a fuse panel in cab

Most American-made cars have a fuse box under the dash. Check under dash at driver's side firewall. May have a cover that you will need to open. Also see fuses under hood in area around the steering column.

normaly on an engine swap they wouldnt have to mess with the dash. the only reason i could think they would have took your dash out would be to reach wiring that was faulty or damaged during the engine swap.

It's a module under dash programmed to turn on Maintenance light. You can pay $80 to replace module or pull wire going to module and save $80. BTW, it's there to tell you to replace your Oxygen sensor.
