Sure all those big 20-50 amp fuses are ok in the underhood box?
You can't check 'em with a testlight, removal and a continuity test is best.I don't think that truck has the old wire type fuse link on the starter, but I would look for that also.It also seems like on the older dodges the power all runs thru the ammeter , if it has one check to see if has burned out.

SOURCE: dash warning light

Do you mean the ABS and BRAKE lights? If so, the ABS module is bad which causes both lights to come on. After rebooting, the module gets tested and the ABS light will come on after a few seconds. If it a module problem the BRAKE light will also come on. The brakes will work normally, but will not provide the anti-lock feature.

SOURCE: 95 dakota cranks but wont start

Well I'm a chrysler master tech & this is a little odd. There's alot of things not in the question so here are mine. I'm assuming it's a 3.9 no 4wd. When did this happen? When you check for power do you have some one turn the key on while you check? If still no power then make sure all the fuses are good from the one under the hood to the one inside the cab. Next be sure to check the grounds. You'll need to by a manual like a Haynes in order to get a decent wiring diagram. In a worst case senario the main power box under the hood has an issue & the asd relay gets no power, hence no start. Ran into it on a 95 caravan & it took a week to figure it out & no replacement was available & I had to hard wire it so it would run. Hope this helps.

MY CAR WANT START BUT ONLY WIT HA BOOST

i would try a new starter first. take it off and go to your local automotive part store and have them determine wether it is bad or not. if thats not the problem then it could possibly be the alternator, my best friend had a dodge dakota that did the same thing you are describing and came to find out the person he had just bought the truck off of put a new alternator on the truck but it was the wrong amp alternator for that truck. he got the right one and truck is just fine now. make sure you check the power and ground connections on your battery before you do any of this stuff, sometimes the connections can be loose. good luck

What are you boosting the fuse box for,? Are you trying to blow the vehicle up? Where did you learn to boost a car? The car that your useing to boost the car hook up one cable at a time to the batterys of both vehicles The car your useing for boosting hook up the ground to the battery first ,Then on the car that your boosting hook the ground cable to a the engine some where , To ground it, Not buy the belts or moving parts , Then hook up the positive to the postive terminal of battery in the car you are useing to boost the other car ,Hook up positive cable to positive terminal on car that you are trying to get started, If you don,t no what your doing get help from some body that has done it before, One wrong move you can (Screw) Up the computer in the car, End you might of done that (Allready)

Try boosting the van.If that works then you either need to clean the cables and battery posts or you need a battery. If boosting it does not work then you may need a starter or the cables to it have came loose, also the engine ground could be the culprit,if this is true then put your booster cables in this configuration;positive to positive and negative from the boosting cars negative post to your engine's block, find a good clean grounding point on the block and hook the clamp there. If the van starts then clean the factory ground point, replace the cable end,or replace the cable.Let me know if none of this info helps and i will give you more things to try.

Went hunting came back and parked 04 dakota in yard went to start wont start, hooked jumper cables up to it and it started but as soon as i took it off it died. so i took the alternator in to have it...

Most likely:
1. The battery has a dead cell.
2. The battery terminals need to be cleaned. Remove both battery cables and clean cable clamps and battery terminals. May not need a boost.
3. The negative cable is loose where it is connected to engine ground. Or damaged, corroded, or otherwise not making a good connection.

Sounds like a short in the wiring going to your blower motor. Using a volt meter pull the plug off of your motor and check the hot wire to ground. Should have no continuity.
