Start at the longest line have a friend pump the pedal and then hold it down while you open a bleed nipple on the longest line. close the nipple and repeat the process until there is no air from the nipple. close off and go to the next longest line and repeat the process eventually ending at the shortest line. Keep an eye on the reservoir level as it will run dry quickly as the air is removed.

Cant get fluid into brake lines after changing escalade brake lines

undo the lines immediately at the master cylinder and have some one work the pedal as you use your fingers as valves. This will prime the master cylinder and allow the fluid to be pumped through to the bleed nipples.

My brakes will not get hard. The pedal goes to the floor. I just changed rear caliper and rotor on the drivers side.

DId you bleed the system after you changed the caliper? If the Master cylinder lost it's fluid while you were changing the caliper, then there is air in the system and you need to bleed the entire system. start with the REAR RIGHT, then the REAR LEFT and then the FRONT RIGHT and last the FRONT LEFT. make sure the master cylinder NEVER runs low on fluid and DO NOT re-use any fluid that you get out of the calipers.

2003 escalade will not start after running it out of gas

My wife ran out of gas once and I had to bleed the fuel lines of air that had been sucked in before gas would travel through the lines. Kinda like you would have to bleed air out of hydraulic brake lines.
