It's very difficult, sometimes you can use a slim jim to unlock the door but if not then you have to remove all the screws that you can see and basically rip the panel off

SOURCE: Door Panel removal

remove all visable screws from panel and arm rest. Arm rest should come off. Use a flat thin tool or piece of metal and slip it between the panel and the metal door frame. Slip it in about 2 inches,. Slide it back or forth til you hit a stop. That should be a plastic pop in.twist metal tool to pull panel away from the door. It should pop away from door frame. Don't overdo it if it doesn't come out. try another spot. once you get one loose, you can tell how to get the others out. Once panel is loose push it upwards to get top lip out of window bottom. If it has power windows, disconnect plug. If it has manual windows, you will have to remove the window crank There is a snap ring behind window crank that has to be removed.push in on panel by window crank and you can see the ring.

SOURCE: driver door panel removal and re-connect door pull

You most likley have a damaged inside door handle. To remove the door panel, you must first remove the handle bezel. The trim piece around the handle. It is held in place by 4 retainer tabs, take a small flat screw driver, insert it between the bezel and handle. Gently pry away from the handle. If you look in the crack around the handle you will see the tabs. When you get that off, remove the switch assembly by prying up on it gently, unplug the wiring. There are 2 screws in the door panel where you pull the door shut, remove those also. Start at the bottom front of the door panel, pull outward firmly, but not violent. The retainers will come out, you will most likley break some, this is common. The inside handle is about $45 from your dealer. If it is the handle it is held in with 1 rivit, drill it out with a 3/16 drill. Replace the handle, reassemble. Good Luck.

if your inside door linkage is broken, most likely, and the child safety lock is on,better take it to your nearest bodyshop.hopefully it is just an electronic lock sensor went bad, otherwise those doors have to be cut open and repaired.,a good tech will no how to cross jump the lock power lead to get it to open.

Citroen saxo 1.1 driver door will not open

hi drivers, i am looking into the same fault for my mums Saxo forte. there are three problems as well as the post above about the child lock. (on drivers door, remove the trim panel and cut the poly material away on the end near lock. look in to the right and with the 3 T30 size torx bolts removed, carefully tilt the lock towards you so u can see the white plastic.) the child lock is at the bottom. mums wasn't stuck so i looked further into it and found the handle mechanism to be jammed and broken. this has a linkage rod that needs replacing for a few pounds from Citroen. You will need a 4 mm drill and a rivet gun to change door handle. i fixed this and now door opens and closes and will work with the key. but door wont open from inside using the pull lever. looking closely at the top right of the lock unit check make sure the long link rod is connected at both ends, i have now found that there is a spring or connecting bit that allows the door to open from in car. i am trying to find the right part for this without replacing the lock mechanism at around 70. wen i find this and the door works fully again i will post the fix method.

2004 Honda S-2000 passenger window won't rise Child lock not on and it's not the fuses. Neither of the 2 swithces make it rise. Is it the motor? Should I remove the door switches? Yesterday it was...

Possibly the wires at the drivers door where they go into the body, sometimes from the door
being opened more than the rest ,the wires will break there.
Should be able to cut a **** in the rubber boot that covers them and look for a broken wire.
If they break at the drivers door neither switch will work.

remove door trim first, then with window up look on back of door lock and you will see u shaped piece of sprung steel that on the back of lock holding it too door skin ,big screwdriver and slide this backwards and door lock is loose .Unclip the plastic bits that sort of clip to the bars that operate the lock and open door .door lock will now drop out.Lock only type,if you have combined lock and handle then normally their are two 10mm headed bolts on inside of door same sort of procedure with the plastic clips but unbolt the handle .1992 doesnt have a factory immobiliser so best advice is big round steering lock over wheel,or a padlock and chain around seat support then on steering wheel .This will put most kids off but being an older car without the immobiliser its a prime target for a get you home car by a couple of drunks .Another trick is a push button start mounted under dash or a coil cut off switch.A friend of mine used to take the rotor arm out,all very well but when its pouring with rain and electrics got wet ,but thats another story.
