SOURCE: Where is the EEC relay in a 1992 F-250 with a 7.5 liter

I suggest to check underhood engine bay, according with this wiring diagram, look under EEC (Electronic Engine Control 1992) or PCM (Powertrain Contro Module 1996-1996)...

ALso, I suggest to check wiring circuit C185, located in THIS LINK DIAGRAM (top right)

Find another relay with an identical part number(maybe the fuel pump relay)& swap it in place of the suspect EEC relay.See if the buzzing quits. If it does, the EEC relay is bad. There might be a ac WOT cutout relay or fan relay with an identical part number that you can use instead of the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay & EEC relay will both have to be in place in order for the engine to start.A relay should click when you turn the key on,but it shouldn't make a buzzing noise.BTW-the EEC relay is energized when you turn the key on and then it supplies ignition on power to the computer, injectors, solenoids and fuel pump relay. Therefore, if the EEC relay is defective, these components are Not going to work.If you don't hear the fuel pump prime when the key is first turned on,that's a sign the EEC relay is bad.One of the injector wires should have battery voltage, if the EEC relay is powering up.If your vehicle doesn't have a matching relay to the EEC relay(except for the fuel pump relay)just pull the FP relay out and slide it into place of the suspect EEC relay for testing purposes. If the buzzing noise stops, then replace the relay because there's no way to test if the car will start without having both relays in place.

My 2000s10 keep blowing the ecm b fuse when i trun the key on

That fuse ECM B also power's the fuel pump an fuel injectors ! It the under hood fuse / relay box ,pull out the fuel pump relay then put fuse ECM B back in an see if it still blows , You could have a shorted injector or fuel pump or the relay !

make sure that your battery isn't dead, and check the owners manual for the ECM fuse. it should be under the hood in the fuse box.

When I connect the battery, the fuel pump runs and will not shut off. Where is the fuel relay located? What can you advise?

LOOK UNDER THE HOOD.THE POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX WILL BE ON THE INNER FENDER WELL.IT HAS FUSES AND RELAYS.BY THE RELAY CIRCUIT ALWAYS HOT.ITS REMAINING CLOSE TO KEEP FUEL PUMP RUNNING.REPLACE IT.BUT YOU NEED YOUR GLOVE COMPARTMENT MANUAL TO LOCATE IT YOU HAVE SEVERAL RELAYS.

Im not getting any power to the fuel pump

Look under the hood on the drivers side above the front wheel.
You will see two relays.
There is a 90% chance the wiring is corroded off the plug or internally in the plug.
Just one wire off will not allow the pump to run.
Look for green powdery dust at the connection plug at the fuel pump relay.
Just check both.
Disconnect the plugs.....are the terminals still in there to connect to.........or a lot of green corrosion.
You may need a new relay AND a pigtail (a new plug )to wire in that fits that relay.
The next area to check is the wiring along the frame to the pump.
Pull at the wires at all connectors heading to the tank.......I'll bet you will find more green corrosion.
If you find corrosion here at only one or two wires out of a multiple wire connector.......just wire in jumpers around that connector for that one or two wires.
Ford wiring is the worst for corrosion at the connectors!.

Ford explorer eec relay

Try a new relay first. This may not be good news if that does not work. If you can find the EEC (computer) and unplug it, then replace the fuse-if it blows you have another cheaper part on the circuit thats bad.
If the fuse does not blow, then the EEC must be shorted.
If you have to replace the EEC you may find a kindly dealer with a cash-for-clunker sitting there to violate. Salvage yards have them, Ebay sells them. I have seen them at swap meets for $20. They are a high price part even rebuilt at Dealers or autoparts stores.

Power to the pump no sound from the pump - cranks but no start

check eec relay or look for a fuel pump relay in the buss box under the hood where the relays are. odds are its not the pump, but the relay.
