SOURCE: resistor vs non-resistor spark plug

The resistor spark plugs prevent radio interference. You are required by law to use them. I would not recommend using anything but the spark plugs that your vehicle calls for. They come in several different lengths and heat ranges that can cause severe engine damage. Consult an engine builder if you think you need a hotter plug for any reason. Radio interference is the answer you are looking for. Thank you for asking a very good question!!

SOURCE: need spark plug wiring diagram for 1965 ford

Try this. If the distributor is in the right way, the clips that hold the cap on should be just a hair off of 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock. #1 is positioned at 1 o'clock, which is at the firewall side of the distributor. The firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8and is counterclockwise from #1. The passenger's side is cylinders 1-2-3-4, from the front of the car. The driver's side is 5-6-7-8 from the front. Hope this will help.

Plug blew out of a cylinder

check the plug hole to inspect the threads.if they are good then the plug may not have been installed tight enough and worked loose until it blew out.if the threads are damaged then you will have to have a heli-coil installed into the hole to make it usable.

Should i gap the spark plug the same as the old one i take out for mustang gt 1991

No, you've got no idea whether that is the correct setting. Your car manual should have the correct settings. Failing that, if you google "Spark plugs gap setting 1991 ford mustang" you should get an answer something akin to:-

Need the way the spark plugs go in a 1995 ford mustang

The spark plugs go in the spark plug holes. You need a 5/8" socket with an extension. The threaded part goes in the hole, leaving the white part showing. A clockwise motion is required to screw them in. If you are needing the firing order then you must give the size of motor and the number of spark plugs it has.

Ford Mustang 95 GT will not start all the time

Hey how long has it been doin this???? Drain your gas COMPLETELY! and let it sit with cap off for a couple of hours so if there is water in there it can drain or dry out. If that doesnt work make sure youe battery cables aren't loose. Rplace spark plug too.

Check the basics, fuel pressure, fuel filter plugged, spark plugs, dirty air filter, coil output-use an old spark plug and watch spark intensity. Could be a plugged cat. Good luck!!
