I am suspecting an air problem in the fuel system. Check that all fittings and filters are tight as if fuel drains back over night the when you try staring in the morning the air in the system will not let it start.. Bleed out any air from any bleed screws.

SOURCE: Skoda Fabia 2004 1.4 tdi 75 bhp. Very sluggish to turn over, had new battery and alternator but still same. Alternator only puts outs 12.3 volts on tickover but no charging liight is on?

Does the battery light work? Do you trust this meter? If this is like most newer cars then the Alternators output voltage is computer controlled, you need the dealer to diagnose the issue and replace the computer is needed, it is a very expensive part so don't just throw one in there.

Heater plug light stay on when car runs its a skoda fabia diesel

Going to need a scan tool plugged in to car to throw up the fault code(s). Could be anything from a blown brake light bulb to a MAF sensor ( literally hundreds of possibilities). Here in UK a diagnostic sdcan should be around £30 at independent garage.
