Use a pair of pliers or vise grips and pull the remainder out if you have enough there to grip on to.

Where is the alternator fuse on a 1996 toyota avalon

main fuse box - it's actually a fusible link, and it will look like a small relay with a clear top. Off the top of my head it's 60A or 100A. I forget whether they are keyed so that you can't put them in the wrong socket.

You can probably find one at a junk yard (get a couple)

There's a 10GA wire that runs from the alternator across the motor and over to the fuse box. Make sure you identify why the fuse blew and correct it, and don't just replace it. If something violated the wire somewhere causing a short, it could be intermittent or it could cook the harness.

Good luck!

How do I replace an alternator 100A fuse in a 2009 Toyota Matrix.

You must release the fuse box and lift up and turn it over as mush as possible, the fuse is held on by 2 shorts bolts and nuts under the fuse box.

What happens if you put the battery in backwards 94 camry

You will blow some fuses, including the main fuse which is usually an 80-100A fuse in the fuse box under the hood, this fuse is larger than the others and has a clear cover on it, check this fuse first and if blown it has to be replaced, this fuse does not pull out it is bolted in and the fuse box has to be taken apart to remove it.

I have a 95 corolla , from the positive termanal on my battery i have a 30 amp fuse runnin to the 7.5 fuse in my fuse box under the hood.why is that? also my 100 amp fuse blown what is going on? thanks

The 100A fuse appears to be for the alternator. If I'm looking at the circuit you were referring to it appears the 30A fuse is the power fuse for the door locks and power relay, and the 7.5A branch of this circuit is for the diagnostic connector. My guess is that the voltage regulator which is part of the alternator is the culprit. You can have the alternator tested at most auto parts stores but it will have to be removed from the car. Hope this helps.

Please rate my advise.

The 100 Amp alternator fuse is blown under the hood in the fuse block, it has a clear plastic cover on it for inspection, the designation is marked inside the fuse panel. This fuse is bolted in inside the fuse box, the fuse box has to be removed and opened to get to the bolts that connect the fuse in.

Vehicle: '97 Nissan PU, alternator

ok we have four connections at the alternator( black wire is ground) (white with blue positive direct from the battery)
and two wires connector in the regulator(yellow with black that goes to charge indicator the red light and goes to fuse 7 10a fuse block inside) the blue with yellow goes to fuse 65- 7.5a in the left fron engine comparment fuse box))#1 check for ground at the black wire= #2 check for positive at the white with blue wire (allwas with power) this wire is protected with 100a fuse is in the left front engine comparment fuse box,
remenber== check the 100a fuse
and the two fuses that protect the regulator.
when you turn the ignition switch to the on position power goes to the alternator by the yellow black wire and activate
the alternator to work.
