Headlight relay

On your truck, the headlight switch sends a ground signal to the central timer module. The module powers the headlights and other circuits.
The module should be behind the driver side kick panel under the dash.

Headlight relays

There are no relays as such. You need to check 10A fuse 11 in the junction box and 20A fuse 12 in the power distribution center. These are the source of power to the central timer module which controls headlight operation. If the fuses check good, start the engine and set the headlmp switch to HEAD. The headlights should come on with either low or high beam depending upon the position of the multifunction switch. If nothing happens, the central timer module probably is defective but the multifunction switch also could be defective.

Headlamp relay contacts could be stuck together causing the headlamps staying on , or the lamp control module is bad .

Dashboard lights on my 1988 jeep wrangler arent working with mu headlights on.

the whole dash's wiring comes through the headlight switch, this switch contains a rheostat (an adjustable dimmer for the dash lights), which are notorious for going bad due to their static type operation, chances are it needs a new switch.

I have 2002 dodge Dakota I sparked the battery and now the headlights taillights cargo and dome and dash lights don't work I replaced headlights switch checked fuses and replaced computer idk what to do...

Check these fuses again:
In the Power Distribution Center (in the engine compartment, left fender panel) Fuse #3 (20 Amp) Fuse #7 (40 Amp), Fuse #12 (20 Amp) and in the Junction Block (on the left end of the dash) Fuse #1 (15 Amp)
Use a test lamp and make sure that these fuses have power. All of these fuses should all have power at all times, regardless of ignition switch position. If they are all good and have power, then you probably need to replace your Central Timer Module. All of the circuits you listed are dependant on this module for operation.

The Central Timer Module is located at the left kick panel.

Headlamps stay on 5 minutes or more when car is turned off and locked. Headlamp switch doesn't seem to turn them on or off.

you don`t say but if your car has a delay timer for the headlights then this could be the problem,it is built part of the headlight switch and to repair you replace the headlight switch itself with the same switch.some of these cars also had an daylight sensor in the dash that would detect how much daylight there is and when it gets dark enough it automaticaly turns on the headlights.this system was first installed on the cadillac cars then filtered down to other models in the gm line.its someplace to start.

WHEN I TURN MY HEADLIGHTS THE DASH BOARD LIGHTS TURNS OFF

Rotate and operate the switch for your interior lights. This also dims/brightens your dash lights when you turn on your headlights.
