TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION WITHOUT STARTING THE ENGINE AND IMMEDIATELY PRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL THREE TIMES WITHIN FIVE SECONDS. IF YOU ARE UNSURE THAT IT HAS BEEN RESET, THEN REPEAT THESE STEPS. TURN THE KEY OFF AND THEN START THE VEHICLE NORMALLY. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA. GOOD LUCK

2001 toyota tundra missing at idle and when driving

You should have a check engine light on.
If so, you would need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed with troubleshooting the problem.

I have a 2001 toyota tundra that is running rough on cold starts

Does it have a check engine light? It should. If so get it read. Most auto parts have a scanner, and will be willing to read it for you.

Tundra 2007 - turn off "maintenance required" light

Oil Change Reminder Lamp: Service and Repair
Engine Oil Replacement Reminder Light
This light acts as a reminder to replace the engine oil.
This light will come on when the ignition key is turned to "ON" and will go off after about a few seconds.
When you drive for about 7200 km (4500 miles) after the engine oil replacement, this light illuminates for about 3 seconds and then flashes for about
12 seconds with the ignition key turned to the "ON" position. If you continue driving without replacing the engine oil, and if the distance driven
exceeds 8000 km(5000 miles), the light will come on. The light will remain on thereafter.
If the light is flashing, we recommend that you replace the engine oil at an early opportunity depending on the driving and road conditions. If the light
comes on, replace it as soon as possible.
Resetting the system
The system must be reset after the engine oil replacement. Reset the system by the following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the "TRIP METER" reset button.
Hold down the knob for atleast 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off.
If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

Servicing tranny

DONT DO IT! It has Toyota W/S fluid in it, its a lifetime fluid that doesnt have to be changed. If you can tfind a dipstick, dont touch your drainplug. It requires a complicated procedure that requires dealer only tools
