Question about Pontiac Cars & Trucks

1999 pontiac gtp tail light fuse

In the past two days I have blown my tail light/dashboard light fuse. The driver info and climate control displays flicker intermittently until the dashboard and tail lights go off. There was condensation in the tail light lenses. Any idea on what the problem could be?

Tail lights and dash lights to 1999 Mazda Protege will not turn on

Sounds like a blown fuse to me. Check your fuse boxes, usually located in the engine compartment, as well as near the driver side of your dashboard, usually near your hood release, or possibly on the passenger side of the dashboard or in the glovebox. Remove the cover for each fuse box and read the diagram on the inside of the cover to find where the fuses are located for each item.

No indicators working found fuse box which fuse?

When you are talking about "indicators" we could assuming that your are refer about signal lights. This work with "flashers" devices.

For 1996 Audi A4 2.8L SFI 6cyl the Flasher is located in front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind dash lower panel, mounted above driver side of steering column.

About generic fuses, open the driver side door. Remove panel on left side of dash. Fuse box is behind panel:

Dashboard lights are out

Most commonly a fuse, check to see if your tail lights are also out. Many car manufacturers put dash and tail lamps on the same fuse to alert the driver that the fuse has blown/ no tail lights.

Climate controls are now in Celsius. HELP

On your DIC (driver information center) to the left you will see 3 buttons arranged vertically.
The ENG/MET button is used to switch between english and metric. Push that button until all displays are in english, that should return your climate control to fahrenheit.

Once you have completed that, push and hold the "reset" button down for 2 seconds ( button just below the ENG/MET button). That should reset you DIC to the default brightness as well as your other displays.

Give it a try and let me know.
