2000 Dodge Ram Van : Everytime I remove my gas

2000 Dodge Ram Van 1500 : Everytime I remove my gas filler cap to add gas, water drips from the cap in to my hand. I see that the cap has an inner rubber seal but is there a chance rain water or condensate is getting in to the gas tank?

Thanks

2000 Dodge Ram Van 1500 Overheats with A/C on

Condenser & Radiator could be very dirty on the outside,
as well as have leaves, feathers, etc between them
The radiator may just need to be replaced, as it is old &
clogged inside
The thermostat may need replacing
Exhaust Converter is surely worn out & partially blocked,
as they only last 12 to 14 years
Spark Plugs,if in there over 3 years, check for cylinder
misfires & fuel trim data
A/C System Overcharged or Air in there, from trying to
add to a leaking system

I have 2000 ram 1500 van, had the idler pully seize and made the serpentine heat up and fall off. drove the van about 5 minutes and turned it off. Got parts to to repair the problem, when I went to start...

Try disconnecting the battery

You do know that the rotor, cap, cam
sensor etc wasn't the way to start a
diagnostic process?

Did it go into Fail Safe from over heating?

Removing distributor cap dodge ram 1500 5.9

If this is a van you will remove the cover from inside the van. The center cover comes out and you will have full access to the engine. Your manual should show you how to remove it but it is usually very simple. Hope this helps.
