2004 gmc denali leaking antifreeze

My 2004 denali is leaking antifreeze. I had a pressure test done today and they couldn't find where the leak is coming from. Is it possible that the water pump is bad?

What engine is in the Denali?

How does the motor oil look?

    How is it running?

    Any check engine lights?

How much coolant is it leaking on a weekly basis?

No damage will occur. Have you checked the oil pressure with a manual test gage? If not do that and please understand GM oil pressure gages are prone to reading high pressure when the sender is defective.

Why do i have oil in my antifreeze

Transmission cooler inside the plastic parts of the radiator may be leaking and causing the oil to mix with the coolant. GM also has a problem with their lower intake gaskets leaking, which would allow the oil and coolant to mix. Last possibility is the head gasket is leaking and mixing the oil into the coolant side but not the other way. Check your transmission fluid for mixing evidence. Another thing to do is pressure test your cooling system (Radiator, hoses ect) to see if there is a leak. Another test to try out is compression.

Better check the heater core it sounds like it is leaking. A little antifreeze will spread a long ways.

Hello i have a2009 pt cruiser with a antifreeze leak but i cannot find the leak anywhere seems that the engine can overheat a little when i drive then stop seems like cooling fan is coming on i am going to...

before you touch the system have a cooling system pressure test done. Also have a compression test done as the coolant may be leaking past a blown head gasket. Have the radiator flow tested for partial blockage of the cores

Leaking radiator fluid from fan pulley? 2004 GMC Yukon Denali. How can i fix this?

you need to replace your water pump. The pulley you speak of is on the water pump, and when the seal goes out, it leaks in that specific spot.

if you dont see antifreeze leaking anywhere, its the head gasket, check your oil dipstck, the antifreeze is probally mixxing with the oil as it leaks thru the gasket and will give the oil a milky white color on the dipstick,if you start to see white smoke from the exaust then its leaking into your exaust port, either way head gasket and change as soon as possible, you dont want it in the oil cause you can seize the motor
