Open the glove box door. The 2 plastic limit straps that attach to the door have small tabs on the side. With a very small screw driver depress these and detach the straps. Remove the under dash panel. Remove all the screws holding the box in and pull the box out.

Use two large thin metal puddy knoves on either side of the hacksaw to protect the vinyl. Put the saw blade between them and cut thru both sides of the U shaped latch. After cutting thru both sides of the U shaped lock the door will open. You can buy a replacement brace along with a new glove box lock at . Take the door off of the dash. Remove the door liner screws and door liner to expose then locking mechanism. Pay close attention to how all the gears and levers come out.Reverse install the new hardware. Reinstall the door to the dash.

IPD's website has a great video on the site that shows you step by step how everything comes apart and goes back together to change Heater Cores. It would be easier for you to watch that than have me explain. You have probably missed a screw somewhere.

Where is the 1996 Volvo blower motor resistor located?

It is in the dash board behind the glove compartment and inside the ventilation duct. It is held in by one screw and has a flat plug going into it. To access it, removed the glove compartment housing and the panel beneath the glove box. Then remove the SRS air back plate which has 3 nuts holding it on. The you will be able to see the blower motor and resistor. The dash board comes apart with a torx bit, I forget the size.

You will need a torx bit set, I am not sure of the size, but all the torx screws in the removal should be the same size. First, removed the panel under the glove box, then remove the glove box itself. The you will see the SRS passenger air bag plate, which is held on by 3 nuts, 13mm if I remember right. Then take that out. Now you will see the blower to the right when looking through the opening in the glove box. To the left you will a black flat plug which is plugged into the back of the rectangular shaped Resistor; it has an ear on it where there is a screw attaching the resistor to the ventilation duct. Simply unplug the resistor and remove screw. Installation is reverse of removal.

Remove the glove box. It is to the left of the glove box cavity. If it is the original relay, on a '91 the relay should be white, I believe.

Where is the pollen filter and how do i change it on a volvo s60 d5 2004

(2) remove the old cabin air filter. This is located under the glove box near the footwell light. You can get to the filter by removing the plastic covering under the glove box. This is held in by 2 torx screws. Remove this, and you've reached the CAF.

(3) slide out the old CAF.

(4) slide in the new one. Really, there's nothing more than that.
