Vehicles Without Message Center
To reset the system, press and hold the odometer reset button and wait for the "TIRE PRESSURE SET" light to illuminate. Continue to press the button for 3 seconds, then release. After 3 seconds, the low tire pressure warning lamp will flash 3 times, indicating that the low tire warning system reset procedure is complete.
Vehicles With Message Center To reset the system, press and hold the SETUP button and wait for the message center to display "REST FOR SYSTEM CHECK". Then press the RESET button and wait for the message center to display "HOLD RESET TO RELEARN". Press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds. The message "HOLD RESET TO RELEARN" and the low tire warning lamp will flash 3 times, indicating the reset procedure is complete.

Testimonial: "Knowledgeable expert...found the button (but unfortunately did not fix problem--maybe shop messed up a sensor in the tire)"
SOURCE: 2002 pontiac bonneville problem
I had the same problem, I held the reset button in for over a minute and it finally seemed to reset. It has been about a month and the light has not come back on. Yet! Good Luck

if the tires have been rotated it could be a diff tire and sometimes its actually the spare, put 2 lbs over the recommended amount on the inside of the driver side door in all 5 tires if that dont work a dealer will have to see which sensor is bad
