SOURCE: Latch will not open glove compartment.

Try pushing the lid hard and downward while operating the latch. If that doesn't work, you have the option of tearing the box out from behind, or prying the lid downwards until the latch releases. Kind of messy any way you go! If it was a problem with a keyed lock, you could get a locksmith to pick the lock for you.

SOURCE: i cant close the glove

Yes, it shouldn't be too hard either. However, have you tried to unlatch it? I had that happen to me. I shut an envelope in it and the latch locked. Try pulling the handle and take a screwdriver and try to move the latch back out.

I hope this helps.

Check to see if the allignment is correct. The little bar that the latch hooks on to might have moved over time. Just loosen the wee holding screws and adjust it until it works again.

I just looked at a Prius in my shop; there is a small plastic removable panel (approx 3" x 4") inside the rear compartment, facing the taillamps...lift the panel off, and you now have access to the bulb sockets.
