Question about 1999 Chevrolet Suburban
The battery has been disconected. Now the security system prevent the truck from starting. There is a combination of puttting the ignition switch to the second position a couple of times maybe while holding the brake or door lock down at the same time. I have done this before, but can't remember the correct steps to get the truck running again. Can you help?
Turn the key on, leave the key on for 11 minutes. The security light will stop blinking. Turn the key off. Repeat this procedure 2 more times. Do this with a battery charger on it so the battery won't go dead. After the 3rd 11 minutes period, the truck will start.
