Question about 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse
There is a fuse in the fuse block under the hood on these cars that usally blows when the alt. craps out. try changing the fuse and then this should solve the problem, If not then look at the wires coming from the altinator and make shure none on them have been rubbing and have grounded themselves out.
