Question about 1992 Ford Crown Victoria
Replaced ignition lock, it's ok. Checked fuses in power distribution box, they are good. With original ignition switch I can start car and run. When you turn the key back to off, car continues to run. When I put new switch in I could'nt start car.
That happened to me years ago,so i may not be acurate on this but try this anyways...check the wires between the starter solenoid - aternator - and wiring whip to the vehicle,i think its a single light gray wire you would be looking for.check to see if its broken or shorted out...this info may not be right where to look, but i know its in that area.
