How do i check if my 1989 corvette a/c heater blower is getting current

Find the power wire, on your model it should be pink for faded red color, possibly purple. This is the +12 volt wire that should have power with key on and blower switch on high. THere should be voltage between this wire and ground, if not check the relay or resister, problem may be blower switch.

1989 corvett heater fan will not cut off when i trun the car off

Nothing wrong with the fan. Your fan switch has a direct short in it. The only way to stop your problem is to replace the switch. This is a common problem among the older model cars. Good luck

The controles for the heater or a/c do not work. blower fan runs on high all the time

if the problem is the fan only runs on high no matter were the fan control switch is then this sounds like the blower motor resistor is the problem.

I have a 1989 corvette when it gets to operation temp it will shuf off and will not start intill it cools off.

Based on your description I suspect the ignition module is the culprit. It is common for failing module to cause this condition.

I suggest that you have the ignition module tested, most Auto Zone stores will test it for free but it has to be removed from the vehicle.

More than likely the heater valve is stuck open. You can usually purchase them from the local parts house. As far as the ride most of these cars ride this way. You can update the suspension with newer designs and shocks to allow a softer ride and can even get suspension that is adjustable allowing you to set the ride and performance yourself to your liking. Air suspension is probably also available to allow maximum soft ride.
