Question about 2008 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes Benz E Class
I have a C 350 2008 and I have recently changed the oil and oil filter.
But of cause the service indicator still shows A maintanance.
How can I reset it??
Removing the battery cables and resetting the computer is never wise on a Mercedes. You can inadvertently reset the throttle sensors and cause drivability issues. There is a way to reset the maintenance light through the instrument cluster. Here is one way to do it:
There are a few different procedures depending on the features that you have. If this procedure did not work for your vehicle, there is a mobile app that has all of the reset procedures in it for every vehicle through this same link. Good luck, hope this helps.

Take off the positive and negative battery wires and leave off for 15 minutes, that will reset the computer
