Start by inspecting your monovalve(located behind battery in engine compartment. The diaphragm is probably torn- you need to remove the 4 retaining screw off the lid and pull out the solenoid. on is the diaphragm. when it is torn hot water enters your heater core all the time

Auto climate control

I would have someone check the automatic system - the minus temp will keep the system from working because the body computer thinks the outside air is below zero. The sensor for outside air may be defective.

Thanks for your motor is 3.1 v6 auto. where is my control mod located for the blower motor?

Might be the Resistor pack located close to the blower. It has a flat connector with 4 or 5 wires, and two small screws holding in the duct. It may be a crispy critter. It happens... The blower moves air across it to keep it cool. The blower motor may be bad as well, or possibly the fan speed switch. May very well be the fuse for the blower as well. The blower connector may be loose. Let me know what you find.

Climate control is on defrost only the auto

Check your vacuum pump located on the right side fenderwell. see if its running. Check the vacuum hose at the hubs for leaks or damage. repair if damaged. check for other vacuum leaks such as the grey hose going to the heater control valve.
