The blower motor is under the middle of the dash, kind of up high, and the resistor is on the right (passenger) side of the car under the dash near the console

SOURCE: 2005 Titan: trying to replace 2006 nissan blower resistor...

It's under ther dash little squarish box., 2 screws and a white plug very easy to fix. i just did mine in my 05.

There might be some heavy resistance with one of the wires leading to it. Have an electrician check it out.

The resistor limits power to the blower to make for the slower speeds. It could be a sticking fan relay or the controller.

you have a bad blower motor. It is drawing too much current causing the resistor to go.

The other problem is your spark plug wires have bad insulation. Change them with at least 8mm diameter wires.
Ignore knock sensor code, it is responding to misfire.

2001 nissan quest front blower does not work on two lowest speeds.


Change your blower motor Resistor...it's probaly oxidized on those two coils....

Blower is working on position 4 (max) only


The fan speed control resistor is burned out.
