Question about Chevrolet Malibu
There is a red light that is down by the chargers and its constantly on. I couldnt find it in my user manual and i don't know why it;s on or what it's for.
With a volt meter set to d c volts, check the voltage of the battery- it should be 12+ volts- with the car running it should read 14+ volts at the battery- autozone or advanced auto can check this for you for free-if these readings are much less your car will not run or start soon because of a dead battery- Denny

SOURCE: solar battery charger?
absolutely. solar chargers are out there, most electronic shops will have them. get at least a 7 watt one. or a new deep cycle battery will easily handle being in storage for a week. so long as doors are all shut tight.
