you need the key for the original lock to remove the barrel ,if you have lost the key then its a complete change of lock .the barrel will only come out with the lock in the ACC position which you need the key for then you push in a little pin ,look on the new one for location and out it comes but if you have no key then its a cut the whole thing off .

do you have the old key if so....
remove steering column cover 3 to 4 screws on the lower side insert key turn to acc/on position use a small pick tool or something that can fit the small hole underneath the ignition switch its a pin hole push in at the same time pull out the key it will come right out call 704-777-5274 for more support thank you
