Were do I locate the resistor on the car
Resistors are normally in the blower box near where the wires enter for the motor.

SOURCE: where is the resistor for
under the dash on passenger side. take the under dash pannel off and then you should be able to see it. its put in a hole in the heater/ blower motor case and has a 4 wire connector, unplug connector and then remove resistor.the wire colors should be 2 black and blue wires 1 black and yellow and 1 black.

the resistor is located under the hood, in the black electrical box. There is a drawing of all that is in that box in the owners manual -- if I remember correctly, it's number 9

Just a picture to confirm what coly_coli posted, no new information
This is the wiring harness for the blower motor resistor, the actual resistor is mounted in the blower duct. If you follow the harness to the left ( towards the driver's side ) it is on the connector on that end.
