Turn key on, turn blower switch on, unplug connector off blower motor, with test light check for power and ground at the connector. If signals are good, replace blower motor. If signals are not good, possible blower resistor failed , fuse , relay , controller, etc...

At the moment, I think the problem is blower control module, I can't be positive. At the blower motor, purple wire should be voltage and black should be ground. If good voltage and ground with no blower action, I'd suspect the blower motor, check for voltage and ground, hi speed. Use a test light.

Im trying to locate the fuse for the rear blower in my 2008 gmc arcadia, can anyone help me

RR/HVAC fuse 30amp located in the under hood fuse box. You can check it but highly doubt it's the problem . More then like it's the blower motor control module that's bad .
Circuit/System Description
The auxiliary blower motor is a variable speed fan. The HVAC control module controls the fan speed by sending a pulse width modulated signal to the auxiliary blower motor control module. The auxiliary blower motor control module varies the duty cycle across the auxiliary blower motor in relation to the pulse width modulated signal. The auxiliary blower motor speed can be adjusted from 10 percent to 90 percent duty cycle (PWM), 90 percent is high speed fan.
Watch this video for testing purpose's only , this is a front blower motor control module . Same way your back one works . GM is GM Chevy , Buick ,GMC , Cadillac .

Yes, that would be the first thing to check. If the fuse is OK, then possibly a short in the circuit. If a short is not found through multimeter testing, then your blower motor is probably toast.

Air and heat blower will not come on. 1998 sonoma 2.2l

start by checking fuse. if fuse is good, aquire a test light, check the test light on the battery to make sure the test light works. Power to ground = light. access blower motor under pass-side dash panel.(probablly have to remove underdash cover, secured with pop-in style fasteners.) locate blower motor. 2 wires w/connector Purple-power, black-ground. check for power at purple w/test light on known good ground, with ign on, and blower switch on high. if it has power, hook clip of test light to a power source, ( + on battery w a jumper wire) and probe black wire, with test light. if no light, jumper that wire to a good ground. if it lights, you have a bad b-motor. if no light on power side of blower motor, and fuse is good, check power to swith. blower circuit may have 2 fuses. 1 for high and a 2nd for the lower speeds. if switch has power to it, and power is transfered to another wire when switched, suspect the blower motor resistor. 2005 gmc envoy heater goes on and off problem this happens after 20 minutes running, starts up fan motor start and stop short time heater council display goes on and off

This could be the control or the blower motor, the first test would be to check the connections behind the controller, the connections may be loose, if the connections are good and not melting then go to blower motor and use a test light to see if you are loosing power when the control goes out and also the blower, if you loose power to blower then i would would say thge blower motor is good and the problem is the controller or the resistor, the resistor would cause the blower motor to go on and off but would not affect the heater control, so if the lights to the control are going crazy then i would say the controller or a power wire to the controller or to ignition switch. good luck.

First check and see if you have voltage at blower motor with key and switch on, with test light, if you do have voltage, blower motor bad, replace it, if you don't have voltage at blower motor, next to it, is where the blower motor resistor is at, follow the wire from the blower motor to it, check voltage there, should have voltage, if you do replace blower motor resistor, resistor cost about $45.00 at auto parts. If I can be of more help. please let me know.

Putting in a new blower motor.

Hi, First remove the radiator overflow tank behind the right fender well, you may also have to loosen and place the a/c pump aside. Jack up the pass side of the car, with a combination of below and up inside the fender well , you can remove the blower motor fasteners, then replace the motor. Advance auto parts has this assembly available with the squirrel cage included. This is not an easy job but will be very rewarding.
