Why is my engine slowing down and rpm dropping

It is impossible to provide a proposed answer to your question without knowing the YEAR and MODEL of your vehicle.
That being said, your OIL light indicates either a deficiency of oil in the crankcase or an oil condition or delivery issue.

Oil light comes on when i slow down or idle

If you don't believe that your idle is irregular and lower than normal, you may want to check the oil level. The indicator is for low oil pressure which can happen when the engine is about to stall or if the oil level is low.

My 2000 mazda 626 v6 idles up and down but at low idle the oil light flickers on and off. i replaced the mass air flow sensor and proble is still there. when put it in park it idles high.

Most of the time when the cars idle fluctates up and down ia the IAC (idle air control) they either build up carbon and are slow to move of it is defective.

When slowing down to such speeds as 25 mph or lower the idle will act like it's starting to stall, then the idle will increase when i apply pressure to the gas pedal. during the time when the idle seems...

you must have a OBS2 scan and get the code for further help.
it can be a number of things.
go to autozone and see if they will scan it for you
as of the oil light when your engine Begin's to stall it will cause it to come on.
post some more info when you get the scan

Oil light goes on and off as i speed up and slow down in my hyundia tiburon

If when you speed up, the light goes off then it is building sufficient oil pressure. When idling it does not have enough oil pressure. U may have too thin of oil in it, need an oil and filter change, or the engine is wore. Other than that could just be a faulty sensor.

2004 chrysler sebring idle speed is too slow. HOw

why do you want your rpms higher while idling? you don't want them high because your gas bill will reflect that. slow shouldn't matter but if it's dying while on idle it could either be your mass air flow sensor or your fuel filter being clogged

2002 chrysler concorde lx low idle

with a 2002 Concord 3.5 V-6, what should the rpm be at 60mph? 70 mph?

I'm not sure if the overdrive gear is lost in the tranny, but the transmission light is on.

Slow acceleration, high rpm

This sounds normal to me! The engine will read that rpm when accerlerating lightly. It is the stall of the torque convertor. The oil pressure will always be higher when the rpm's are higher, or when the oil is thicker - cold.

Virbration? That is a different story. Oil won't cause that.

Loose oil pressure when engine slows down

That's normal in most cases, depending how low it goes. 40 psi approx when driving, 20 psi approx when idling ?
