SOURCE: My deawoo cielo is hard

Scan the cars computer for error codes. Post the actual code (not a description of it) so can see it. Have a "Fuel Leak Down" test done. "Load Test" the car's battery and alternator.

SOURCE: 1996 daewoo cielo wont start.

First you need to see if your getting spark to the plugs, then you need to check to see if fuel is getting to the fuel rail.

If this is OK, then check power to the CKP (Crank Position) sensor that comes from the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) and the trigger also comes from the camshaft so the only thing you can test is the wires from the crank sensor connector to the PCM and if good then the problem is on the pcm computer. Some fault codes there?

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

SOURCE: Needing to know the head tension for deawoo cielo

daewoo lanos 1.6L dohc head torque is as follows , step 1 = 18 ft. lbs. , step 2 = 70 degrees , step 3 = 70 degrees , step 4 = 30 degrees . sequence is as pictured .
This should get you done -start with the middle head bolt and work your way out in a circle. Doing each one at step 1 - then the next bolt step 1 - then the next one step 1 - then go around again with step 2 - then around step 3 - 4 etc.

yes, you need to check the positive wire for power and then the trigger wire... Something needs to make the coil trigger for spark.

Have a locksmith make you a new key or replace the lock barrel with a new set of keys.Try contacting the dealer and state the vin number of the car and they may be able to check records for the key code to cut new keys.

Deawoo Cielo 96 Hard to start and runs like ****

If you put injector cleaner in there after you put the new injectors in you could have ruined them, maybe not but this sometimes happens. Also check the plugs and see what color they are.
