Please do say ,exaclty what knocks.
is this heard or felt or both.
is the sound inside car or outside,
there are 3000 parts in newer cars.
so direction to noise is complex , to the extreme

my guess, is car has a M/T tranny , a STICK, say so.....
and you are shifting and you mean the gears grind?
knocks , is something engines do ....
so you shift and all gears work? no not
you can shift up or down, so do all gears work or just 1 fails
and if fails tell use what you were doing.
driving on the road.?
or backing out of the driveway?
what?
give is CONTEXT. tell what you did, and what car did wrong.

I just changed the knock sensor on my lexus rx 300 now the second and third gear dont have a smooth change also gear all of a sudden is not going into the 4th gear

Knock sensor controls ignition timing. It should have no control on transmission shifting. Did you disconnect/remove anything else to access the knock sensor? Was the battery disconnected? If so, a relearn procedure may be required for trans module etc relearn shift points while you drive the vehicle

How can I stop the Knock?

you fail to menyion what kind of car and which engine. I can only guess that this is what is known as spark knock which can be caused by several things, most common would be low octane fuel. another more critical cause could be improper timing.

Knocking nosie from left side of 06 saturn ion? hear it all the time but mainly after 2nd gear when it shifts is the worst part?

Have your motor supports checked. Also the drive shaft could be causing the problem if that knocking is not coming from inside the motor.

I have a 99 mustang gt & I know it needs either a pilot bearing or throwout bearing, but it started making a knocking noise when the car reaches @ 2200 rpm & stops after I shift gears! Does not...

your description is not clear. the throwout and pilot bearing only work when the pedal is depressed. and dont make knocking noises, so rule that out. If the noise is when the car is moving and in gear, the trans maybe bad. makes noise in all gears at 2200 rpm? trans needs to come apart.

Car makes a hard knock sound when shifting to first and second gear, got it looked at and no code comes up. but they do see knocking on the first and second gear, but can not find out what could be making...

Have a look at the mounts.

Hard Knock can be contributed to the engine or transmission movement during a high torque situation.

Hope this tip helps.

5 speed having truble exalerating

engine knocking is produced when when the pistons misfire. Try adding Octane 89 at the pump. if that fixes the noise then all set, if not then you have another problem much bigger.

Poor acceleration can be from drivers error. make sure you shift and the correct time and at the proper RPMs. Lets assume you are shifting correctly, the poor acceleration could be from a leaking head gasket.

Knock sensor

Nope. The knock sensor detects knocks in the engine and retards detonation in the timing.

Car not shifting would be bad vacuum operated actuator on outside of tranny or bad syncros or other internal transmission parts

Knocking noise in 3.8 lit 95 ford taurus

You can not put a liquid where metal is supposed to be. Just a general rule of thumb. The high RPM's had been too much for the engine, and A rod bearing, or rod knocking is about the same thing. Dont try the heavier oil thing, I hate when ppl suggest such stuff. Just replace the bearing, or in most cases and cost efficent, the engine.
