Question about Cars & Trucks
I have a 93 s10 blazer with the 4.3 ive determined there is plenty of fuel pressure and spark the fuel relay however will not ingage when key is cycled. ive replaced it and still nothing. i bypassed it and got the pump to run but still will not fire without starting fluid or stay running im afraid it may be a fuse (which i can not locate) or the ecm itself may be bad

SOURCE: Fuel Pressure Relay location
Hello, There is no fuel pressure relay. If you mean fuel pump relay, you can find this by opening hood, look towards driver's area, on the firewall just below the cowl vents you should see a relay with 5 wires going to it.

FUSE SHOULD BE UNDER THE DASHBOARD ON THE DRIVERS' SIDE. WHEN YOU CHANGED THE PUMP, YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER AS WELL TO MAINTAIN THE WARANTY. I WOULD CHANGE THE FUSE AND FILTER. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW HOW YOUR DOING. BEST OF LUCK

That eliminates the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Have you checked the fuel injector itself for an open winding or stuck valve plunger? There should not be a steady 12 volts to the injector--if good injector, it would be spraying fuel steadily into the throttle body. But at least the engine should try to run if poorly. Take the injector out, dry it off with air, and intermittently apply 12 volts to one terminal while grounding the other. You should hear a click from inside every time you touch 12 volts. If not, replace it. If it does, it may be plugged with debris. Try blowing through it in reverse with compressed air.

nest step is to dicconnect harness at fuel pump and check for voltage there, if so then pump is faulty if not look for fuel pump reset location found in owners manual
