Question about 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix
We recently bought a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix and the emergency flasher button is broken, completely missing. We live in rural west Texas and we have a couple of junk yards, but not sure if they will have a replacement. I figure I can wire in a new switch on the dash somewhere if I had a wiring diagram. Can you help with any details?
I would try and keep it stock if you can. I'm pretty sure the flasher button is on top of the steering column? not on the side. In more than one case I have seen the button just broken and a new one can be snapped in place if it is on top and not the side. Other wise it will have to be repaired by taking off the steering wheel and lock plate to access the flasher button, usually behind the turn signal actuator.
