Thank you for responding. They are the following

    Air Intake Sensor

    TPS

    and Temp Sensor

Intake gasket seems good with no leaks

  • marc_shapiro May 19, 2009

    Eagle Vision TSI 3.5L

When cold it runs very rough

When warmed up it runs rough

    Either way it does stall.

Once I pick up speed its ok.

I found that my fuel injectors where not getting fuel. Fuel pump is ok and I have pressure.

I have narrowed it down to my BCM, so how do I disable my VTSS?

  • marc_shapiro May 20, 2009

Sorry, it was not the timing belt.

Do you know how to disable the VTSS on the BCM?

    and

    Where is the BCM located?.

  • marc_shapiro May 21, 2009

I found the information on how to jump the VTSS. I even tried to unlocking the passenger door with the key. Do you have any other quick ideas before I try to take out the BCM.

The reason is is looks like I might have to remove part of the dash board.

    Please let me know

  • marc_shapiro May 22, 2009

Ok, I got the BCM out. It has 3 power harnesses.

There is NOT lt.green/orange wire. I found similiar notes on this.

    So no luck.

The passenger side kick panel does not have a lt.green/orange wire.

I am going to check the drivers door harness and kick panel.

I will keep you posted. If you find anything else out please let me know.

  • marc_shapiro May 22, 2009

Yes I have. Still no luck.

I swapped it out with another relay in the power distribution unit.

I did an eletrical test in the injectors.

    They are not injecting :-).

But every once and a while the car does get a good dose of gas.

Is there something else to look at for the auto shutdown?.

    Thank You

  • marc_shapiro May 22, 2009

No luck yet. Any other ideas would be welcome

    Thank You

    In review;

I am getting spark, I am getting fuel pressure, after the car turns over (then dies) the injectors are getting juice. Then none. The fuel pressure value is ok.

And yes I sprayed starter fluid in and the car RAN.

    But here is a question..

Is the BCM and PCM the same as a 1996 Eagle Vision TSI 3.5 and a 2000 Chyrs Intrepid 3.5

I think this an issue the VTSS?.

First, what engine just to confirm & does it run o.k. down the highway? Stalling all the time, warm or cold, runs rough all the time?

BCM I believe on that should be behind glove box area. You'll have to remove knee guard from door to radio, to see it up under near glove box area, screws & brackets holding up there. As far as disabling it, a little google work or go on a forum, you may get info, but sounds like circuit board has to be modified with jumper wire or something. Have you tried unlocking passenger door with key(s) to see if that will disable security system?

This is for a 94 Intrepid, I wonder if same applies? Just a thought, use at own risk !

    In the 1994 Dodge Intrepid,

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS lt.green/orange,

Located in the drivers door harness or in the

drivers or passenger side kick panel area.

Once Located, splice into this wire with

a simular guage wire, and put it to

a solid chassis ground. This terminates

    the alarm functions entirely.

Have you checked the auto shutdown relay?

Here's something that might help you. Got to (autozone.com) and sign up for there free access to parts, prices & manuals. Once your signed up and have entered all your vehicle info, click on repair manuals, go to chassis electrical, then wiring diagrams. It gives you a sample page of diagrams & what all the symbols mean etc., then scroll down the collection of wiring diagrams & find your engine or chassis wiring and it should have diagrams of all the circuits, how one works with the other etc. It may help shed some light on your situation. All kinds of other info too, just click and search for what you want.

MY 1995 EAGLE VISION STALLS OUT , IT STARTS UP FINE BUT AFTER IT WARMS UP AND YOU TAKE IT FOR A RIDE IT WILL STALL OUT

Find the EGR valve. Look up on the internet what it looks like and where it is located for your car. There will be a vacuum hose attached to it. start the car when the engine is cold. when it gets to running temperature and starts to stall, pull the vacuum line off. If the EGR is bad, the car will keep running and idle will return to normal.

Locate fan sensor on 1997 eagle vision

Your fans (low and high) have number of parts.
1. Temputure sensor
2. Hi and Lo fan relays (PCM)
3. Relay located in the fan assembly itself

If you car over heats either in idle or when you turn the air conditioner you are having an eletrical issue. The fix is easy but can take some time, rewireing and a relay.

Hope this helps
