Remove the triangle shaped trim pannel on the inside of the door, above the door trim pannel, this will reveal a couple 3-4 nuts that need to be taken off, support the mirror from the outside, once those nuts have been removed, the mirror will be free to be removed, NOTE: if the vehicle is equipped with power mirrors you will need to free the power clip before you remove the mirror

Replacement of the side reaerview mirror on a

so you don't need to change the housing, but just the panel the mirror sits on right? If you mean the entire unit, then you'll need to remove your door panel (screws are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door) and remove the cover adjacent to your mirror to remove the bolts to remove the mirror.

If it's just the back and the mirror, you'll need to angle the mirror until you can see the release clips on the back of the panel that mounts it to the housing (Pivot Point)... be very careful as the clips can easily break....

Changing door mirrors on Mitsubishi gto to folding type

Try gtouk.com or 3si.com as it isn't that simple as you need 2 extra wires running to your door and extra relays to control the folding action.

Need to change the wing mirror on my ford focus c max but dont know how

remove the plastic cover directly behind the mirror on the inside of the door, it just clips off normally with a flat blade or knife (Blunt knife if possible as a sharp one may cut the upholstery)
Once removed you should be able to see the retaining bolts that hold the mirror to the door.
If you have electric mirrors there should be a multi wire electrical plug you will have to disconnect before removing the mirror.
Hope this helps
