Hi,
it is under the upper timing belt cover between the camshaft gears. According to the manual touching anything related to timing belt requires removing million parts including right front wheel. I suspect this might be an overkill just to remove upper timing belt cover.

So my advice would be to get it done by some mechanic as u will not be able to do it and may damage other parts also.

Thanks!
Sandy

Here is the web site that will show you where the camshaft position sensor is at and how to instructions as well but make sure that you have a jack underneath the left side engine so when you take off the motor mounts that the engine does not fall !! I also recimend that if you are taking off the timing belt to replace it because the engine is a interferrence motor which means that you have to replace the timing belt before the 60,000 miles or if you do not do this and put a timing belt on this car that the timing belt snaps that it will cause the top of the piston heads to hit the valves damaging them so here are two web sites for you below:

What is the most prevelant repair for Daewoo Laganza 2002?

There is a recall on the camshaft position sensor. that is cause of "engine" light to illuminate. Temp gauges are notoriously erratic, moving from below midpoint to 3/4 and back again in synch with the radio fan deployment. Timing belt breakage is the reason for so many junked daewoos, when the belt breaks, it damages the valves and sometimes the pistons also. Change the belt as required maintenance to be safe
