Question about 2005 Volvo XC90

1 Answer

Passenger door squeaks on my 2005 XC90 2.5 AWD. Whenever someone sits in the passenger seat and rests there arm on the door side panel or arm rest it makes a sqeaking noise. Is there something there that I need to fix or get replaced?

Your car need a few good screws ;-)

Seriously, check under the handle for 2 Philips (cross) head screws, I think a number 2 Ph screwdriver will work to tighten them.

2003 nissan 350z. Passenger door electric locks only unlock half way. Problem is I can get door panel off being door is shut and cant open from outside/inside.....What now lol

Remove the front seat can give you access to remove the panel. But if it has screws around the outer perimeter, most likely will have to tear it out. Best to find a replacement first. Look at the drivers door, if it has screws, so does the passenger side. There are screws around the arm rest and door handle to remove, then it pops off. Again the seat has to be out of the way.

not exactly same steps but similar. Most cars I have worked on the screws were along the bottom and on the arm rest. Make sure you remove all screws some may be under a access panel. Use caution when pulling on clips

Want to fix the passenger side mirrow motor for toyota sequoia 2005

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you can remove the bolts holding the mirror onto the door and disconnect the cables from the mirror going into the door

How to remove front passenger side interior door panel on 2005 pontiac wave (same as Chevy Aveo). Need to re-attach door handle. Screws that hold it on attach from the inside of the panel.

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door
